Cyclone Montha. Floodwaters have inundated several areas in Narasaraopet. Heavy flooding has reached the suburban colonies. Locals have faced difficulties as knee-deep water has stagnated at the stadium in the town. Floodwaters are overflowing the road at Abbineniguntapalem in Guntur district. Police have set up check posts and are keeping watch. Vehicular movement has been stopped. Several areas in Ichchapuram in Srikakulam district are stuck in waterlogging. The Bahuda river has become turbulent due to the flood from Bhagalati in Odisha.
